Yeah, I liked that too. I hadn't really thought about it but if I had, I would've assumed she'd be the one to end the relationship- and I would've expected it to feel like an empty "girl power!!" moment. The way the film handled the breakup felt real for her character, and didn't try to flatten her or simplify her. She's the best part of the film and the reason why it worked so well for me, better than I expected.
