This episode was so blissfully twins-centric!! AND it was a noir!AU, AND a simulation AU. Tailored for me, really.

The twins plot was great. I love that Josie (her “dark”/repressed side) used the simulation to her advantage, that one side of her wants to kill her before she’s killed, while she also says “if someone has to die I’d rather it’d be me”. That everything comes down to The Merge, that she gets rid of the other players to get alone with Lizzie (it’s even appropriate that Hope is the one that gets in the middle and kills simu!Josie to save Lizzie LOL. Choosing one of the twins over her boyfriend in the process, which is also a very interesting trend). I’m soooo here for villain!Josie.

Their characters on the simulation were on fucking point too. Lizzie is a star (on her decline,which doesn't make sense because Hitchcock would've hired her, clearly. Gosh she looked so good too) . Acting as the girl in a Black Lagoon Monster type of film. The show said monsterfucker rights xD), and Josie is her publicist, in charge of making her look better and oh so resentful about it. I love it.

And just. The way the dialogue referred to their relationship in this episode gave me SO MANY DAMN FEELINGS. “Maybe that’ll pry you out of your sister’s [Lizzie’s] claws”; “one of us was always going to become the winner”; “I had to kill Josie so that she could survive"; "I did this to show you I’m stronger than you”; “I know I don’t show it well but I love you, Josie, more than I love myself”; “sorry sis, it’s you or me”. I want this show to focus on the twins’ issues forever and ever.

Lizzie was as amazing as ever in this episode, too. I love how self-aware she is within the game itself. And that her reaction to hearing about it was “how do I win”. I love her so much <333. And I will riot if they stuck her with MG of all guys. She's not into him, okay?? Make Lizzie/Rafael return if you really need a ship for her so badly.

Vardemus is back! Okay, it’s not going to be the same and I don’t have any hopes of more juicy Josie/Vardemus interactions, but still. I like the guy. It’s Wesley!

But man, I do NOT like that Dorian is leaving. You were the best adult these poor kids had around AND an amazing character!! I mean, it’s good for his life expectancy and at least they didn’t kill him. But I’m gonna miss him so bad.

I had somehow forgotten Emma’s actress was in Galavant. I love her voice. I wish she was a more permanent character because I really like her. And there’s going to be a musical episode soon and I would’ve loved to hear her singing again.

And one more thing about the twins: I hysterically laughed when Josie had a sex dream (with Jade! That ship is sailing) sleeping next to Lizzie, and Lizzie called her on it. Like, how else I’m supposed to take this, writers xDD. LOL at Lizzie’s disgust at the idea that Josie might’ve been dreaming with Landon or Hope, too xD
